Kosovo's Special Court to be seated in Hague

Quoting sources from the British Foreign Ministry, the media in Pristina re reporting that the seat of the court will be in The Hague.

The officially dissolved KLA, which once gathered a number of individuals from the ranks of the current political elite of Kosovo, is suspected of, among other crimes, participation in trafficking of organs harvested from illegally imprisoned Serbs and other non-Albanians.

Had the Kosovo parliament not passed legislation that will enable for the establishment of the court, this would have been done by the UN Security Council.

Tanjug reported earlier on Tuesday that although the formation of the court is now merely a technical issue, "there is no information when the judicial institution will begin to work, or what concrete cases it will deal with."
