Bosnian minister "not satisfied" with Potocari probe

Mektic said on Friday his dissatisfaction stems from the fact "everything is going too slowly."

The Bosnian official is "also not satisfied with the discussion on the information on the security aspect of the commemoration that was held at the session of Bosnian Council of Ministers, and he told journalists after the meeting that everything looks like a storm in a teacup," Tanjug reported.

He said the Council of Ministers has not sought anyone's responsibility, and that the meeting mostly discussed the accountability of the organizing committee in charge of the commemoration, although the body had nothing to do with its security.

Mektic hopes that the Bosnia-Herzegovina parliament "will be a more serious place for discussion and posing questions about responsibility."

"I requested that accountability of police agencies that should have secured the event be investigated, but they tried to blame the organizing committee for everything," the minister said.

When asked about the information that 20 persons are suspected of the attack on Prime Minister Vucic, Mektic said that "only Bosnia's Prosecutor's Office can have such information."
