The invitation for Vucic to come and visit Washington again was voiced by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland during her visit to Belgrade last week and the date of the visit was settled a few days ago, Novosti reported.

The daily states that Vucic and Biden would discuss European integration and energy safety of Serbia.

The talks will also cover the case of brothers Bytyqi, U.S. citizens of Albanian origin who fought for the ethnic Albanian paramilitary formation Kosovo Liberation Army during the NATO campaign against Serbia and were murdered upon release from prison in July 1999.

Novosti states that the talks will also reflect on the prosecution of individuals responsible for setting on fire the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade during the 'Kosovo is Serbia' protest on February 21, 2008 when around 650,000 people gathered in protest against the unilateral declaration of Kosovo independence by ethnic Albanians.

During visited the U.S. in early June but he was not able to meet with Biden because of the death of the son of the U.S. official.
