Serbian currency ends week "steady against euro"

The Serbian dinar (RSD)"held steady against the euro (EUR)" on Friday with the official middle exchange rate at RSD 120,1473 for one euro.

Serbian currency ends week "steady against euro"

Against the single European currency, the Serbian national currency is 0.3 percent up on the month, and 3.2 percent down on the year.

The indicative dinar-to-dollar exchange rate has weakened by 0,2 percent to RSD 110,0552.

Against the U.S. dollar, the dinar has weakened by 2,7 percent in comparison to the level a month ago and 21,9 percent compared to a year ago.

Since the beginning of the year, the NBS has sold EUR 120 million and bought EUR 600 million on the interbank forex market in order to prevent excessive daily volatility of the exchange rate.
