Clients of Greek banks in Serbia "completely secure"

An account has been opened with the NBS, which is used by these banks to deposit their foreign currency funds, from which they are being paid out without any limitations, Tabakovic told state broadcaster RTS late on Tuesday.

The NBS has taken all measures necessary in an emergency situation that will make the savers and legal entities completely safe from risks that the Greek banks may face due to an indication of Greece's potential bankruptcy, Tabakovic underlined.

There are four Greek banks doing business in Serbia - Vojvodjanska Banka (bank), Alpha Bank, Eurobank and Piraeus Bank.
