Mayors of Moscow and Belgrade sign cooperation program

A program of cooperation between the City of Belgrade and the Government of Moscow for 2015-2017 was signed on Tuesday.

Mayors of Moscow and Belgrade sign cooperation program

Mali and his Moscow counterpart Sergei Sobyanin discussed ways to improve cooperation between the two capitals in areas where concrete experiences can be exchanged.

Addressing the media after the meeting, Mali said there is a great number of fields in which Belgrade and Moscow will cooperate, such as health care, culture, optimization of traffic, urbanism, and exchange and export of agricultural products from Belgrade and Serbia to Moscow.

The Moscow mayor stressed that the signing of this program marks the beginning of great cooperation and that the two cities will be happy to cooperate in the sphere of economy, adding that everything that Moscow has is placed at Belgrade's disposal.

Mali and Sobyanin previously discussed transport issues, while on Monday the Belgrade mayor conferred with Moscow's First Deputy Head of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Sergei Andreykin about possible cooperation between the two cities in terms of improving the efficiency of the Belgrade traffic.
