Sonja Licht said on Thursday that PM Aleksandar Vucic's visit to Tirana will be written in the history of Serbian-Albanian relations.

NGO head praises Vucic's visit to Albania as historic

She specifically pointed to the fact that both prime ministers underlined the importance of good cooperation between the two countries, both for their bilateral relations and for the region as a whole.

"It is very important that, despite the differences, they focused on the similarities and the reasons why the two countries must continue to work together. The most important in my opinion are the signs of a new spirit, the spirit of cooperation, that is growing stronger day after day," she said.

Licht noted that the economy is the first, but not the only step in the bilateral cooperation, adding that she expects closer cooperation in other areas as well, such as culture and education.
