BELGRADE Air Serbia will get its first plane on October 27, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has announced. During the debate on the bill of amendments to the Law on Ministries, Vucic told reporters in the Serbian parliament that Air Serbia "will have ten planes next year." On August 1, Vucic and President of the national airline of the United Arab Emirates Etihad James Hogan signed in Belgrade the Agreement on strategic partnership which transforms Jat Airways into a new company, Air Serbia. The Serbian deputy prime minister said that the new company and the agreement would make it possible for Serbia to improve its technological and business environment where 30 million passengers would get a reliable airline to important destinations in Europe and the world. According to reports, the Airbus A319 will make its inaugural flight from Belgrade to Moscow on October 27.

On August 1, Vučić and President of the national airline of the United Arab Emirates Etihad James Hogan signed in Belgrade the Agreement on strategic partnership which transforms Jat Airways into a new company, Air Serbia.

The Serbian deputy prime minister said that the new company and the agreement would make it possible for Serbia to improve its technological and business environment where 30 million passengers would get a reliable airline to important destinations in Europe and the world.
