Pink Address: 16 Solunskih Boraca, Belgrade Telephone: +381-11-502-091 Working hours of restaurant and kitchen: from 10 a.m. to midnight City transportation: bus: 51, 56 Credit cards: all except YUBA card Garden or terrace: yes, summer, in the yard, 5 tables Parking: yes, 15 spaces, with security guard, no public parking in the surrounding area Disabled persons: directly from the street, the toilet not adapted to special needs Music: radio, evergreen Menu: in Serbian and English (by request) Staff speak: English, Italian and German Cuisine: national, fish, pizza Main courses: from 400 to 600 dinars Non-smoking area: yes Available for hire: yes, banquet hall, 40 seats The interior has stayed the same, an eclectic combination of wood, iron and old paintings. If you’re lucky enough to find a seat, you’ll have the chance to dine in the quaint garden with only five tables. The offer is typically national and consists of everything you could possibly imagine straight from the grill or in cooked versions. We can warmly recommend the chicken with sesame, the chicken Karadjordjeva steak, and especially tasty are the chicken medallions filled with ham and cheese and rolled in bacon. On the other hand, the turkey fillet was tough and obviously presented a challenge for the chef preparation-wise. If you feel more like seafood but don’t like to experiment too much, the grilled squid are always good, and there’s also an offer of pizzas, but these have been way too much adapted to local tastes. For dessert, try the pancakes with jam, walnuts or chocolate-hazelnut cream. Only several domestic wines are listed on the wine card, along with two tap beers, several bottled versions and a large repertoire of brandies and the like. Interestingly enough, there’s a “children’s menu” which contains mini portions of the most popular dishes, including pizzas. The young an expeditious waiter who speaks three languages was a pleasant surprise. Meal for two, without wine: 1,500 dinars In the category of cheap yet large portions, Pink has for years been a local food temple in Zarkovo, taking up more and more space with the growth of its business.
