"We agreed on a meeting in Zagreb on September 27, where we will continue the conversation about the Slovenia-Croatia border, where I will advocate the position that it has to be the main topic of conversation and I want to speak about implementation too," Cerar told STA.

According to Hina, Cerar told Slovenian radio that a special bilateral deal on the border issue was unacceptable to Slovenia.

The Croatian side does not consider the ruling of the international court of arbitration binding, and wants the issue to be resolved bilaterally, while Ljubljana says the ruling is now part of European law and that Croatia, as a member of the EU, has to abide by it, Beta reported.
