President receives US military delegation led by Breedlove

The two sides agreed that defense cooperation between the two countries was very highly developed and that it was the best part of overall bilateral relations, with respect for Serbia's military neutrality, Tanjug reported, citing a statement issued by the presidential press service.

According to the release, Vucic said it was "very important that a high-level US military delegation is visiting Serbia as part of a course to get acquainted directly with the strategic environment in which it will perform new duties, because every exchange of opinions contributes to better understanding and improvement of cooperation."

Vucic singled out cooperation with the Ohio National Guard as a good example, stressing that cooperation that is being realized through the State Partnership Program is also important for peace and stability in the region, "to which Serbia is sincerely dedicated and to which it provides a comprehensive contribution."

During the talks, the situation in the region was also considered, and Vucic said that peace and stability in the Western Balkans, as well as the country's economic progress, are the priorities of Serbia's policy.
