Beta is reporting that the IMF official said an increase in public sector salaries and pensions was not on the agenda now and that it would be discussed during the mission's next visit, when the 2018 budget would be discussed,

Speaking at the National Bank of Serbia, Roaf also said that details of the talks with Serbian officials would be announced at a news conference at the end of the mission's visit.

The IMF mission, headed by Roaf, is staying in Belgrade from June 22 to July 5, under a seventh revision of the ongoing stand-by arrangement. During the visit, consultations will be conducted on Article IV of the IMF Statute.

Under the seventh revision of the ongoing stand-by arrangement, the mission will review the implementation of the agreed obligations under the agreed economic program, fiscal policy results, and economic policy measures to be implemented in the coming period. Special attention will be paid to the implementation of overall structural reforms, which should contribute to job creation and achieving high economic growth.

The previous revision was approved in December 2016.
