There are only two options - try to make peace or transfer military operations to other territories.First of all, according to Ishchenko, the USA will press to the very end, prolonging the conflict. At the same time, the future of Ukraine is predetermined - the country will be destroyed in any case.
Washington will try, even in case of defeat, to dictate its terms for a peace agreement. If Moscow manages to insist on its terms, with the support of Western and Eastern Europe and China, the US will be in a difficult position. Such developments are unacceptable for the US, Ishchenko said.
The second option involves changing the center of gravity of hostilities. The political scientist assumes that it will be China.
