Putin: "We will crack them up... They are nearing the end"

The American air defense system "Patriot" is an old system, worse than the S-300, we will find a cure for it, announced the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

Putin: "We will crack them up... They are nearing the end"

"As for the Patriot, it's a pretty old system. It doesn't work like, say, our S-300. Yet those who oppose us are starting from the premise that it's supposedly a defensive weapon. Well, well, we're just going to keep in mind. And there will always be an antidote," Putin told reporters after the State Council meeting.

"We will destroy the Patriot as well," said the Russian president. According to him, deliveries of US air defense systems to Kiev will only prolong the conflict in Ukraine.

Russia is strengthening its strategic potential

Russia will not make provocations, but it is strengthening its strategic potential, the Russian President said.

"We will not organize any provocations. But there is still a factor of strengthening our strategic forces, even though these systems are medium-range... Such speed characteristics give us certain advantages," Putin told reporters, recalling that in January the frigate "Admiral of the Soviet Fleet of the Gorškov Alliance" will be handed over to the army and that new weapons systems will appear.

Kyiv will soon run out of reserves

Russia spends military reserves, these are big numbers, but the huge difference with the Ukrainian military-industrial complex is huge, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Now I'm not going to give figures on how many, say, shells we use per day. Those are big numbers. But the difference between us, say, and those who oppose us is that, say, the Ukrainian army is... an industrial complex, if not completely emptied, then it moves quickly towards it. Soon it won't have its own base," he told reporters. He added that the Russian base is "only growing", but not at the expense of other valuable spheres.

Putin added that, unlike Ukraine, Russia has developed its defense industry, military science and technology over the past decades.

The resources of the NATO countries are not running out

Ukraine receives weapons of mostly Soviet origin and it is running out, Russian President Vladimir Putin said. "I think that the resources of Western countries and NATO countries are not at an end. The thing is different - the fact is that Ukraine receives weapons from the countries of the former Warsaw Pact, mostly of Soviet production, they are really at an end. We have almost destroyed, burned, you can count several dozen armored vehicles there, hundreds," Putin said at a press conference.

Russia will try to end the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible

Russia will try to end the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible, Russian President Vladimir Putin said today.

Putin said that Russia's goal is not to incite a military coup, but to end the war.

"That is what we strive for and we will continue to strive for it. We will try to finish it as soon as possible," said Putin, speaking to reporters after the meeting of the State Council.

At a press conference, Putin said that the delivery of the American anti-aircraft missile system "Patriot" only prolongs the conflict, reports RIA Novosti. He stressed that all conflicts end with negotiations and told Ukraine that the sooner it realizes that, the better.
