Deputy Head of the Kherson Military-Civilian Administration, Kirill Stremousov, was killed in a traffic accident, Russian media report.Stremousov, the deputy head of the region, often spoke on behalf of the regional administration, especially when it came to the situation in the city of Kherson. He gave regular updates on social networks and regularly talked to journalists about affairs in the region.
Just this morning, the late official revealed an update on the situation on the battlefield, reporting that Russian soldiers had thwarted Ukrainian attempts to advance in a town about 50 km north of Kherson.
Acting head of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, confirmed that Stremousov died in an accident.
""It is very difficult for me to say that Kirill Stremousov died today. He died in the territory of the Kherson region in a traffic accident," Saldo wrote on the Telegram social network.
Stremousov's office shelled
Stremousov came to prominence in the national media after he had already escaped death once.In September, his office in Kherson was hit by a Ukrainian missile, but he was not in the office at the time. Several administration workers were injured in the explosion.
