The United States is ready for a dialogue on Ukraine if Russia withdraws its army, said U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

The United States ready for negotiations on one condition

"If Russia withdraws its forces and is ready for negotiations, we are ready to do the same," Blinken said.

According to him, the United States is open to negotiations with Russia in various spheres, including security, but diplomacy requires de-escalation in Ukraine.

Blinken said that Western countries are coordinating actions aimed at speeding up the delivery of air defense equipment, anti-tank systems and other weapons to Ukraine.

The U.S. diplomat stated that the United States is documenting the cases of civilian deaths during Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, and will demand responsibility for that. However, Blinken did not want to answer the question whether there are cases where civilians died through the fault of Russian soldiers.

He said that Washington will fully support Kyiv if it decides to continue negotiations with Russia.

The second round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Belarus is expected today.
