Islamic State claims responsibility for Turkey attack

RT is quoting a a statement issued by the terrorist group, that referred to the attacker as "IS soldier,” who attacked Christians for celebrating a holiday the jihadists deem “apostate.”

24 of the 39 victims were foreigners, Turkey's Anadolu agency has reported.

The attacker remains at large at this time. Turkey's prime minister has been quoted as saying by CNN that he hopes the shooter "will be caught soon."
