EU leaders agree on plan to present to Turkey
Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel announced the news on Twitter, after EU leaders met in Brussels and were "assured that the draft deal would not result in mass deportations and differences were bridged over sweeteners to give Turkey in exchange for its help," AP reported.Donald Tusk, who chaired the summit, and the head of the executive commission "should presented EU's position to Davutoglu for his endorsement."
"If Davutoglu objects" the EU leaders will meet again and reconsider their offer, said the agency.
The EU plans to pay to send back to Turkey migrants arriving in Greece who do not qualify for asylum. "For every migrant returned, the EU will accept one Syrian refugee, all to be distributed among European states," AP reported.
