OSCE officials urge investigation into Nemtsov murder

OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ivica Dacic and Secretary General Lamberto Zannier on Monday condemned the murder of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov.

OSCE officials urge investigation into Nemtsov murder

"I offer my deepest condolences to his family,” Dacic said.

“I trust that the law enforcement authorities will swiftly and thoroughly investigate this incident and bring the perpetrators to justice,” an OSCE statement quoted him as saying.

Zannier said that "peaceful opposition should be cherished and cultivated in any healthy society, and be protected and safe from any violence or intimidation.”

“Those responsible must be brought to justice,” he also noted.
