A 36-year-old Montenegrin man has been arrested in Colombia, South America, for taking part in the smuggling of 150 kilograms of cocaine.

PODGORICA A 36-year-old Montenegrin man has been arrested in Colombia, South America, for taking part in the smuggling of 150 kilograms of cocaine. The man was identified as Mladjan Bulatovic, a native of the Montenegrin capital Podgorica. Podgorica-based daily Dan writies that the Colombian police suspect that Bulatovic was "merely a courier", who was supposed to ship the drugs "for relatively small change". The report adds that the Colombian police also believe Bulatovic was involved in several other shipments of narcotics, and that he was connected to a Romanian gang that was arrested last year for smuggling cocaine worth nearly EUR 90mn. Bulatovic has been living in South America for years, having left the country to work aboard a ship after he completed high school.
