"We consider it a positive sign... for the people of Iran, the language of threats and pressure does not work," said the Iranian official. "Any right specified in the Treaty on the Nonproliferation of Nuclear Weapons should be respected," said Jalili, and added that uranium enrichment was one of those rights, "which every individual member states should benefit from and enjoy, for peaceful purposes" . EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Ashton said that today's talks between the representatives of Iran and the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany were "constructive and useful".
