Iran rejects U.S. accusations of Saudi plot

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad rejected the U.S. accusations of a plot to assassinate Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the U.S. Speaking in parliament, Ahmadinejad called the accusation “the U.S. latest anti-Iran scenario”. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced on Wednesday that they had uncovered a plot to assassinate Saudi Ambassador Adel al-Jubeir in Washington. He said that the plot was prepared by two men linked to the Iranian government. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said that high-ranking members of the Quds Force, the elite special operations unit of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, not only knew about the plot, but took part in it.
