Medvedev says he won't be Putin's rival

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has stated that he and PM Vladimir Putin will not be rivals in the presidential elections, scheduled to take place next March.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has stated that he and PM Vladimir Putin will not be rivals in the presidential elections, scheduled to take place next March. Medvedev explained that such rivalry would harm the country's interests. Medvedev was also quoted as saying that he "enjoyed working with U.S. President Barack Obama", and that he wished Obama would be elected for a second term in office.
