Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has survived a NATO bombing attack this morning in Tripoli, but one of his sons and three grandchildren were killed. This is according to a Libyan government announcement. Reports: Gaddafi's son, 3 grandchildren killed The 29-year-old Saif al-Arab was a student in Germany and a civilian. Gadaffi's wife was also at the targeted premises but she was unhurt, said this report. Libyan officials showed reporters the house that was hit by at least three rockets, said Reuters. There was celebratory shooting and joy in the rebel stronghold of Benghazi when the news about the deaths reached them.
