The AFP and Associated Press news agencies quoted officials as saying the first strike hit a vehicle killing four militants. Drone attacks kill six in Pakistan The strike hit in Datta Khel, some 40 kilometers west of North Waziristan's main town of Miranshah, the AFP reported. The second attack was in the same area and targeted militants on a motorcycle, killing at least two more. The region, close to the Afghan border, is a key battle zone in the conflict against Taliban and Al-Qaeda militants, and the U.S. military is believed to launch drone strikes on suspected militants in the region.

The strike hit in Datta Khel, some 40 kilometers west of North Waziristan's main town of Miranshah, the AFP reported.
