U.S. officials reveal identity of eighth terror suspect

The U.S. government has revealed the identity of the eighth suspect in the group that was planning terrorist attacks abroad, in Kosovo among other places.

The U.S. government has revealed the identity of the eighth suspect in the group that was planning terrorist attacks abroad, in Kosovo among other places. The suspect is Jude Kenan Mohammad, who along with seven other suspects, is accused of conspiring to provide material support to terrorists and conspiring to murder, kidnap and injuring of persons abroad. U.S. officials reveal identity of eighth terror suspect The indictment from last week only released the name of seven suspects, who have all been arrested in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is believed that Mohammad is in Pakistan, where he was in 2008 participating in the jihad. American officials believe the leader of the group is Daniel Patrick Boyd (39), a Muslim convert. He had experience and training in Afghanistan and Pakistan in between 1989 and 1992, which he used in forming his own organization that trained fighters and gathered money and performed terrorist attacks outside of the U.S. His two sons Dylan, 22, and Zakariya, 20, were also arrested, along with Hysen Sherifi, 24, Anes Subasic, 33, Mohammad Omar Aly Hassan, 22, and Ziyad Yaghi, 21. Yaghi and Subasic have U.S. passports, but it was not stated where they are from originally. Sherifi is an ethnic Albanian from Kosovo who had residence in the United States. The eight, who could face life in prison if found guilty, are accused of traveling to Gaza, Israel, Jordan, Pakistan and Kosovo in order to plan or contract people for attacks.
