Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic has won in the second round of the presidential elections in this country, officials have announced. Gasparovic took 55.53 percent of the cast votes. Incumbent wins Slovak elections According to results based on almost all the ballots counted, opposition right wing candidate Iveta Radicova won more than 44.47 percent, Beta news agency reports. The second round went without any incidents and was marked by a high voter turnout of 51 percent out of 4.3 million registered voters. 43.63 percent of Slovaks eligible to vote turned out at the polls in the first round held two weeks ago.
