Belgrade's Museum of Contemporary Art reopens after decade
Among them were Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Serbian National Assembly President Maja Gojkovic, the government announced.Brnabic said that this was her "best day" since becoming a member of the Serbian government, as a cabinet minister, in August last year.
Brnabic also "expressed her gratitude to her colleagues in the current and previous government, who made a great effort to complete the reconstruction of this museum, as well as to President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, who insisted that the works be brought to an end as soon as possible," and said she was satisfied that "for the first time three great brands gathered around this great idea - the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Belgrade Dance Festival and the Belgrade Philharmonic."
Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali emphasized that today Belgrade once again becomes the cultural capital of this part of Europe, adding that it is a special symbolism that this museum opens on Belgrade Liberation Day.
