The railway station is not located close to the refugee reception center in Sid.

Beta agency said it learned that the accident happened at around 06:45 CET this morning. The migrants were treated for burns in Sremska Mitrovica, and then sent to Belgrade for further medical help. Two of them have suffered life-threatening injuries, the doctors said.

The police said that the accident most likely happened when the migrants attempted to climb on top of the tank car.
