Regional Children's Philharmonic to perform in Belgrade

After successful performances in Ljubljana and Zagreb, the Regional Children's Philharmonic Orchestra will play a concert on Friday evening in Belgrade.

Regional Children's Philharmonic to perform in Belgrade

Eighty young musicians aged 7 to 14 will perform at the concert as a part of the Night of Music event. The repertoire will consist of soundtracks of movies such as Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Schindler's List, The Deer Hunter and Rocky.

The orchestra was founded by the Children for Children foundation with the aim to develop musical knowledge among the region's children.

They had the first performance in Belgrade in 2015 under the baton of Ziva Ploj Persuh, when the orchestra performed as a part of a traditional New Year's concert at Belgrade's Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment.

The concert starts 8.30 p.m. and the entrance is free of charge.
