Two young women, T.J. (20) and T.Z. (23), both from the Serbian town of Srbobran, fell last night from the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad.

EXIT: Two young women injured after falling from fortress

One of the victims was seriously injured and is being treated at the Orthopedic Surgery Clinic, while the other received only light injuries and has been sent home.

This is not the first time that similar accidents have happened during the festival, despite the safety measures in place at the fortress and the constant appeals by organizers for visitors to stay within the fenced space.
