Serbian MiGs intercept and escort Israeli passenger plane
Serbian Air Force's MiG 29 jets intercepted at 10:30 CET on Tuesday an El Al passenger airplane, and escorted it while it was flying in the country's airspace.

Serbian MiGs intercept and escort Israeli passenger plane
Belgrade-based daily Blic is reporting that the Serbian Ministry of Defense confirmed this.Earlier, Croatian Air Force MiGs also intercepted and escorted the airplane while it was in that country's airspace. They acted before Italy's Air Force, and on the orders of a NATO headquarters in Spain.
Before that, the El Al Boeing 747 was intercepted by two Swiss FA-18s, according to Croatian media.
The plane eventually landed safely near Tel Aviv. More details are expected to be announced once the aircraft has been searched.
