PM offers condolences over Russian passenger jet crash
“We were deeply grieved by the news of tragic death of passengers on the airplane of the company Kogalymavia which crashed in Egypt. Although it is difficult to console those who lost their beloved ones, I am convinced that you and your government will give them support," Vucic's message said, and added:"On behalf of the Serbian government and my own, I extend my deepest condolences to you, the government of the Russian Federation and families and friends of the victims."
Russia on Sunday observed a day of mourning for the passengers on Kogalymavia air carrier's flight 9268. The plane, an Airbus A32, was headed for St. Petersburg when it crashed on October 3, some 30 minutes after taking off from Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh.
The cause of the accident has not yet been determined and announced.
