The first U.S. tour of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra began by a concert held in the Chicago Symphony Center.

Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra begins U.S. tour
The orchestra presented itself in Chicago with the performance of Željko Lučić, a famous Serbian baritone and star of the Metropolitan Opera. The performance featured pieces from Verdi's operas Macbeth and Rigoletto.The concert began by the sounds of the Marche Slave by Tchaikovsky and the second part of the performance, the Sibelius's Symphony No. 2 demonstrated the technical mastery and the full scope of the orchestra's music expression.
After the concert in Chicago, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra will continue its tour in Severance Hall in Cleveland, Strathmore Music Center in Washington and Carnegie Hall in New York.
