BELGRADE The winner of Beta's 10th Photo of the Year contest is Belgrade weekly NIN's photojournalist Andrej Isakovic, for his photograph entitled, "Mr. President." This was announced during Thursday's opening of the International Exhibition of Journalist Photography, organized by the news agency. "Mr. President", Beta news agency's photo of year Visitors will be able to see 58 works, selected from among the 511 photographs sent in by 120 authors from nine countries at the exhibition in the Zira shopping mall in Belgrade, open until July 1. The contest was open to photojournalists with photos taken in the region of South East Europe. Second prize went to Bernard Covic, photojournalist of the Glas Koncila paper from Zagreb, for the image titled "Don Bosco," while his colleague from the Croatian photo agency Pixsell, Marko Jurinec, won third prize. Balsa Rakocevic from the Podgorica daily Dnevne Novine received the audience award. U.S. photographer Ron Haviv addressed the gathering via video-link. The general sponsor of this year's contest is the SBB company, while other sponsors are Canon, the Zira Hotel, the Zira shopping mall and Hellenic. Visitors will be able to see 58 works, selected from among the 511 photographs sent in by 120 authors from nine countries at the exhibition in the Zira shopping mall in Belgrade, open until July 1.

The contest was open to photojournalists with photos taken in the region of South East Europe.

Second prize went to Bernard Čović, photojournalist of the Glas Koncila paper from Zagreb, for the image titled "Don Bosco," while his colleague from the Croatian photo agency Pixsell, Marko Jurinec, won third prize.

Balša Rakočević from the Podgorica daily Dnevne Novine received the audience award.

U.S. photographer Ron Haviv addressed the gathering via video-link.
