B92 Fund’s Board of Directors President Veran Matic thanked the donors on their donations and underlined the important role of the local community and local businessmen in the Battle for Maternity Wards, as their role is crucial for acquiring equipment for all 50 maternity wards on the territory of Serbia where the battle is waged. “With today’s donation, the number of incubators delivered to the General Hospital in Sremska Mitrovica had reached five. Still, for the undisturbed work of this institution, it is necessary to provide the following equipment: pulse oximeters, lamps for phototherapy, electrical aspirators, carts for emergency treatment, beds for the newborns, infusion pumps, stethoscopes, weight scales, oxygenation hoods, and other devices, which we will try to do during the campaign ’Battle for Maternity Wards’. On this occasion, I want to appeal to all the local companies and individuals to join us in this generous cause”, Matic concluded. B92
