Belgrade Design Week - a key international event in Serbia’s cultural calendar and the most significant creative festival in the region, will open on June 4. The event - centering around the three-day International Creative Conference, themed this year as FREEDOM SQUARED - will last through June 10. Belgrade Design Week to open on June 4 The 7th Belgrade Design Week will present all its programs under the roof of the renovated National Library of Serbia (NLS) in Belgrade. Participants who will present their works this year include, among others, Italian-British industrial designer Martino Gamper, British design studio Troika, new Austrian and French design superstars Thomas Feichtner and Mathieu Lehanneur, Dutch agency 180 AMSTERDAM and UK agency FALLON, as well as Austrian architects Querkraft, Slovenian studio Enota, Croatian atelier 3LHD, and NLS interior designer Zoran Radojicic. Beside the Creative Conference, other BDW programs have found their place the program, including creative workshops and master classes BDW DIZAJNLABS, with free entry for creative industry professionals from Serbia and the region. For the first time, this year's Belgrade Design Week will also have its "pre-premiere night" on Sunday, June 3, with the launch of the 100% FUTURE SERBIA project, organized under the patronage of the Serbian Ministry of Culture, kicking off Belgrade’s summer festival - BELEF. In announcing Belgrade Design Week, the organizers particularly stressed that for the first time since the festival was established in 2006, its entire course, from opening to closing, would be broadcast live on what's referred to as "arguably the most important design web portal: www.wallpaper.com". To purchase tickets for the FREEDOM SQUARED conference, visitors must register at www.belgradedesignweek.com. Entry is free for all other BDW programs. B92

Belgrade Design Week to open on June 4
