A closed session has been scheduled for Thursday in Belgrade, according to the Blic newspaper, where the judge will present his proposal. Constitutional Court to ban extremist group? This should be followed by a debate and a vote by the 15 judges of the Constitutional Court. The article says the proposal states the group should be banned because it is a proclaimed secret organization, "something the Constitution of Serbia prohibits", while this status is used by its members to cause racial and ethnic hatred. The group is not registered, therefore a ban would not mean deleting it from the register - however, public gatherings, publishings, usage of its website and symbols could be prohibited, said a source quoted by the daily. Serbia's State Prosecution filed its request for the group to be banned in October 2008, arguing that its manifesto was overtly neo-Nazi, and that it acted as a secret organization.
