Serbia's best tennis player Novak Djokovic will miss the 2011 Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters due to a knee injury. But Serbia's no. 1 and world no. 2 says he believes in himself and may soon outplay Spain's Rafael Nadal. Djokovic talks self-confidence Djokovic is 0-9 against Nadal on clay, but after winning two back-to-back titles in Indian Wells and Miami he will burst onto the Spaniard's favorite surface with much more optimism. "I believe in myself, and think I could soon outlast Nadal even on clay. However, if I want to have a shot at No. 1, I will have to play consistently well in major tournaments because I know Roger Federer and Nadal will do that if I do not," Djokovic said on Sunday. The 23-year-old Serbian is off to the best start to a year, since Ivan Lendl recorded a 25-match winning streak in 1986. This year Djokovic is simply unstoppable, having won 24 matches in a row, 59 out of 65 sets and four tournament titles, including the Australian Open. "I believe this year I am a different player by all means. I think I am physically very fit, very fast. I feel more powerful on the court overall, and the confidence I have is at the highest point possible," Djokovic said underlining that a knee problem is not a major one. The Serbia's best tennis player expects that he will be ready for the Serbia Open, which is to be held in Belgrade later this month. Novak Djokovic at Indian Wells (Tanjug)
