Indictment against MUP officer for sex tape leak

Commissioner for Information of Public Importance Rodoljub Sabic says the Belgrade District Prosecution indicted an unidentified MUP officer over a sex tape. The prosecution move came because the unknown police officer "taped a sex act between two young persons", near Belgrade Arena, and made it public. The video was made with a police surveillance camera. Sabic also stated that he warned the MUP that it has not taken all technical, staff and organization measures of data protection thereby violating the Law on Personal Data Protection. The commissioner requested to be informed within 15 days about the measures and activities which have been taken or planned in order to correct the irregularities. In violation of law, the MUP official used the tape not for its very purpose - security of property and persons, maintenance of public peace and order, traffic control etc., copied it to a portable drive, and took it out of the official premises, Sabic stated. Afterward, the tape was posted on the Internet, where it can be found on a large number of websites.
