The Institute for Blood Transfusion of Serbia has put its new mobile blood transfusion bus into service. The money for purchase of the bus was in a B92-Institute for Blood Transfusion campaign. B92 blood transfusion campaign bears fruit The goal of this project was to promote blood donation and improve work of the institute's mobile teams. The campaign’s goal was also to provide availability and comfortable conditions for blood donors at all locations and to overcome seasonal shortages. This modern vehicle, equipped to the highest standards, will start working on Monday in front of the B92 New Belgrade headquarters. As of Tuesday, the bus will pass travel through all Belgrade municipalities, Gordana Antuljeskov of the Institute for Blood Transfusion of Serbia told B92. “We’ll try to create good, organized campaigns so that our bus leaves a good mark wherever it goes, and we’ll try to reach our basic goal – to overcome the seasonal summer deficit, but also that the bus serves for promotion of blood donation,” she explained.
