Young Belgraders help with snow removal

Some 500 young Belgraders have signed up to help clean snow off the city streets. They will be paid daily wages of RSD 2,000 for their help.

Some 500 young Belgraders have signed up to help clean snow off the city streets. They will be paid daily wages of RSD 2,000 for their help. The young city residents arrived for work in front of the parliamentary building in between 7:00 and 8:00 CET, from which they were taken to various city locations to help with the snow removal. The Belgrade communal services company Zelenilo has hired the young Belgraders for several days to help clean the snow and ice that has accumulated over the last several days, and to pour salt on the city sidewalks in downtown Belgrade, while the Belgrade parking service has gotten them working on cleaning in other parts of the city, mostly in the municipality of Vracar.
