Belgrade to send aid to Haiti

The city of Belgrade has approved RSD 5mn of aid for the people of Haiti, where catastrophic earthquakes have left hundreds of thousands dead or homeless. Deputy Belgrade Mayor Radmila Hrustanovic said that Belgrade and its citizens expressed deep regret and condolences for all the victims, and will send aid of RSD 5mn (about EUR 50,000); with the wishes that the survivors will be able to recover and live normal lives as soon as possible.
