A girl has died this morning while 15 others are treated for their injuries after two school buses collided near Nis, in southern Serbia. 12 sixth graders and three of their teachers have been injured, one child seriously. Girl dies as school buses collide The accident happened at 07:05 on Saturday on the Merosine-Nis road, when the second bus in a convoy of six hit the back of the first vehicle. The 13-year-old victim was today celebrating her birthday. Our reporter in Nis says that the accident happened as the girl approached the bus driver to offer him candy. As he turned around to congratulate her, the driver lost sight of the bus in front of him and collided with it. (Beta)
