A regional heavy metal and hard rock internet portal was attacked by a group of Kosovo hackers, Beta says. According to the agency, Balkan Rock website was taken over by this group which posted a map of what they called "the United States of Albania". "United States of Albania vs. Balkan Rock" The portal, which aims to assist young bands from all the former Yugoslav republics gain recognition, was thus containing a Greater Albania map instead of music news and reviews. This map includes Albania, Kosovo, parts of northern Greece, southern Serbia, and parts of Montenegro. Cities such as Podgorica, Ulcinj, Nis, Presevo and Skopje are inside the borders of this entity. Photographs of Albanian President Sali Berisha, ethnic Albanian politicians from Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj and Hashim Thaci, and Riza Halimi from southern Serbia, were also posted on the website. A link to a five-minute mix of "patriotic Albanian folk and rap" songs was also available, Beta says.
