Japanese government representatives have donated some EUR 60,000 to the Majdanpek Health Care Center. The contract regulating this was signed Wednesday by Japanese Ambassador Tadashi Nagai and the eastern Serbia-based center's director, Dragan Fudulovic, at the government headquarters in Belgrade. Japan donates to local health center The ceremony was attended by Health Ministry State Secretary Tomislav Stantic, who said that this assistance was "extremely important since health care centers need quality staffing and good equipment". Stantic said that Japan, Serbia's biggest donor in the primary health protection, has donated some EUR 3mnm since 1999.
