The newspapers today report about the latest from the campaign, and a variety of related issues. ALO—"Brutality in Ruma – Policemen beat child", says one of the tabloid's front page headlines. The article reveals that a teenager, suspected of vandalizing traffic signs in the wee hours of last Sunday, reported injuries after an encounter with police. Press: Kostunica, EU exchange over SAA "Super derby, Partizan in final", is about the Cup of Serbia semi yesterday when Partizan FC bear rivals Red Star FC. BORBA—"Confusion on East River", says that UN headquarters in New York is the scene of divisions over what to do next in Kosovo. "Lower income taxes", outgoing Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic, DS, reveals in an interview. BLIC—"Doctors arrested over patient's death", says the front page. "Pope on mission to elevate Americans' moral consciousness", says the front page. KURIR—"Organ trade scandal - Who protects Thaci in Serbia?", asks the tabloid, as it reports that the security agency, BIA, "knew about the fate of kidnapped Serbs in 2002". "I'm coming back to Serbia, I'm not selling my house", the Milosevic widow allegedly wrote in a letter. POLITIKA—"Elections will happen after all", the broadsheet reports about the controversial vote in Kosovo. "Russians get refineries, gas stations and Naftagas company", looks a the strategic energy agreement with Russia. "Article 135 remains", more on the EU-Kostunica debate over the contents of the SAA. PRESS—"MPs snatch millions!", the tabloid says on the front page, as it claims that Serbian lawmakers get huge fees from the parliament.
