The Sunday newspapers focus on the new round of Kosovo talks and continue to dwell on the prize money on Ratko Mladic's head. BLIC – “EUR 1.5mn ransom demand” refers to last night’s release of Aleksandra Jovanovic, the daughter of a Bor businessman, after being held hostage by kidnappers for 48 hours. “State won’t give grants” concerns the government’s decision to give financial help to only 16 students, rather than the envisaged 1000. Press: Mladic prize still in focus VECERNJE NOVOSTI – Public Prosecutor Slobodan Radovanovic says: “Judges are obstructing us.” “Army redeployment” talks about the army turning professional. “Islam in Serbia” writes about the problems in the Muslim community. GLAS JAVNOSTI – SPO leader Vuk Draskovic tells the paper that there is “More corruption now than during Milosevic era.” Lawyer Nenad Vikasovic wonders: “Why won’t minister comment on Judge Inic-Drecun’s resignation?” “Dzajic won’t even be honorary president” is about the ongoing troubles at Red Star FC. KURIR – Under the headline, “Foreigners hunt for Mladic”, we hear that foreign mercenairies are looking for Ratko Mladic all over Serbia in search of the EUR 1mn bounty. The paper continues its interview with Milorad Ulemek, the man found guilty of ordering the assassination of the late Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, under the title, “CIA trained Bagzi!!!”, a reference to Dejan Milenkovic, ex-Zemun Clan member and prosecution witness at Ulemek’s trial. POLITIKA – “New round of Kosovo talks today” writes the paper. The demise of the former Yugoslav giant Genex, and the appearance of new companies, is featured in the article, “Fall of giants, rise of tycoons.” “I can’t leave politics” says SPO leader Vuk Draskovic. “Serbian electric company crosses Drina” is all about EPS’ ambitions. PRESS – “Mladic is costing us EUR 1.5mn” says War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic, adding that the decision to issue a reward for the capture of Hague fugitives Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic is a clear sign of cooperation with the Tribunal. But the daily writes that neither the DS or the DSS think that the reward will help catch the fugitives.
