A surgeon with the Kragujevac Clinical Center is under investigation for allegedly taking bribes to perform a procedure. Kragujevac District Prosecution spokeswoman Marija Mladenovic said Saturday that her office launched an investigation into Slobodan Milosavljevic’s activities after a family of his patient filed a complaint to the police. Surgeon probed for taking bribes “According to the complaint, Milosavljevic took EUR 1,000 to perform a surgery he was obligated to perform free of charge,” she explained, adding that the patient in question died on May 21, several days after the operation.
