Religion Minister Radomir Naumov (DSS) will meet with Bishop Filaret, who continues his hunger strike, later today. Naumov has asked the Montenegrin authorities on several occasions to allow Filaret to enter the country, but to no avail. Minister to meet with Bishop Filaret Filaret started a hunger strike at the Montenegrin border yesterday afternoon. The Serbian Orhtodox Church (SPC) dignitary's name is on the list of people suspected of harboring war crimes fugitives wanted by the Hague Tribunal and is therefore prohibited from entering Montenegro. Filaret has thus far been denied entry to the country twice by Montenegrin police, most recently yesterday.

Minister to meet with Bishop Filaret

Filaret started a hunger strike at the Montenegrin border yesterday afternoon.

The Serbian Orhtodox Church (SPC) dignitary's name is on the list of people suspected of harboring war crimes fugitives wanted by the Hague Tribunal and is therefore prohibited from entering Montenegro.
